LOMYFrom one sentence to a full set of reminders
Say you write “Dentist on Thursday at 3 pm”. LOMY files it under Health, works out that you mean this Thursday at 15:00 and sets layered reminders before it, for example the day before and an hour before. A notification reaches your phone at each step, and the appointment appears in your phone's calendar. You did not open a date picker once.
Reminders you control
- Intensity. Low, Normal or High decides how many reminders you get for each event.
- Timing. Choose how early each layer comes: minutes before, hours before, days before, or up to three months ahead.
- Your own “morning” and “evening”. Tell LOMY when your day starts and ends, and “tomorrow morning” means your morning.
- Repeating reminders. Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Manual reminders. You can still add a reminder by hand whenever you like.
Photos and voice work too
Take a photo of a concert ticket, a school letter or an appointment card, and LOMY reads the date from the image and sets the reminders. Or record a voice note on your way out of a meeting: it is transcribed, understood and turned into reminders the same way. See voice notes in LOMY.
Reminders arrive even when the app is closed
LOMY schedules your reminders on its servers and sends them to your phone as notifications, so the app does not need to be open. A reminder you set on your computer at heylomy.com/app rings on your phone. If you also like e-mail, LOMY can send a morning summary of today's reminders or an evening summary of tomorrow's.
When an AI reminder app helps most
- Appointments you hear about in passing: the dentist, the vet, a parent-teacher meeting.
- Things with a deadline: a bill, a form, a passport renewal.
- Birthdays and anniversaries, with a reminder early enough to buy a present.
- Plans made in a chat: paste “Dinner at Ana's on Saturday at 8” into LOMY and it becomes a reminder.
Ask about what is coming up
Because every reminder starts as a note, you can ask LOMY about it later. “When is the parent-teacher meeting?” or “What did I plan for the weekend?” Ask LOMY answers from your notes, so you do not have to scroll through a list.
Questions
Do I have to pick the date and time myself?
No. Write it the way you would say it, like “call the bank tomorrow morning”. LOMY works out the date and time, using your own idea of morning and evening, which you can set in the app.
What does LOMY do with a note that has no date?
It still files the note in the right category, so you can find it or ask about it later. If you want a reminder for it, you can add one by hand.
Do I get reminders when the app is closed?
Yes. LOMY schedules reminders on its servers and sends them to your phone as notifications, so the app does not need to be open.
Does LOMY work with my calendar?
Yes. Events from your notes are added to your phone's calendar automatically. You can turn this off in Settings.
